“Where Have All the Young Men Gone?“ — Ukraine, Afghanistan, East Africa — The Proxy Wars
We can safely conclude it’s not about Ukraine and never really was — it’s about global power balance. ‘Proxies’ are stand-ins, replacing the real thing or person. Ukraine is practically being squashed and being used. Not the first case, either. By all those who have money on their mind, first and last. I have been around for a while now, I am no young person in my twenties. Haven’t been for a while either.
I have been raised with a high awareness of politics, peace — and education as an important asset. Philosophy, literature, arts and crafts, you name it — anything that comprises a classical sound Humanistic educational background.
I grew up in the times when the Cold War between the West and the Soviet Union was in ‘full working order’… I hadn’t even been born when the bay of pigs and the Cuba crisis brought the world to the brink of a third world war.
I write as often as I find feasible and doable about politics and this war, the Ukraine-Russian war.

Looking at history it is so obvious and in some ways so easy to understand how wars come about — and how to end them.
